Charlton's Bonds, Newcastle upon Tyne - Thursby Homes Ltd.
We have been apppointed by Thursby Homes to prepare construction drawings for their refurbishment and conversion of Charlton's Bonds Warehouse in the centre of Newcastle. The project comprises a mix
of 22 one, two and three bedroom apartments together with commercial space on the ground floor.
Work has just started on site with a completion expected late Spring/ early Summer 2017.
Afton Way, Newcastle-upon-Tyne - Bernicia
Work has finally started on site to deliver a mixture of 2 and 3 bed houses together with 2 bed bungalows. The successful contractor is Gus Robinson from Hartlepool. The project is expected to be complete in late summer 2017.
Langley Mill, Co. Durham - David Cooper
Planning permission has been granted for a unique opportunity to construct an executive dwelling overlooking the Deerness Valley close to the much sought after village of Lanchester. The new house has full planning permission, but David wants to put his own stamp on the project which will involve a new submission to Durham County Council for a revised Planning Permission.
Golden Square, Wooler - Four Housing
The redevelopment of Golden Square in Wooler is now complete. N.B. Clark - contractors for the scheme - handed over the final properties at the end of August. There is a mixture of family houses and bungalows which have been designed to be bungalow friendly. All the homes have now been let and everyone is delighted with the overall result. Andrew Drury - Four Housing Development Officer - said it is one of the best schemes he has worked on and praised the whole team for their efforts over the last 3 years.
Simmonds Court, Chollerford - Riverside
Our recently completed rural housing scheme at Simmonds Court in Chollerford for Riverside was awarded the 'Best New Affordable Housing Scheme - Under 100 Properties' in the National Housing Excellence Awards in Manchester on 11th May 2016. The project beat off competition from all parts of the UK to win this prestigious award. Claire O'Shea - Project Supervisor at Riverside - collected the award on behalf of the whole development team.
Leah Gardens, Mickley Square - Riverside
Leah Gardens in Mickley Square was shortlisted in the 2016 Northern Regional LABC Building Excellence Awards in the 'Best Social or Affordable New Housing' category. The awards ceremony took place on the 8th July 2016 at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead.
Simmonds Court, Chollerford - Riverside
Simmonds Court in Chollerford was also shortlisted in the 2016 Northern Regional LABC Building Excellence Awards in the 'Best Social or Affordable New Housing' category.
Elizabethan Court, Berwick - Four Housing
Elizabethan Court in
Berwick-upon-Tweed has also been shortlisted in the 2016 Northern Regional LABC Building Excellence Awards in the 'Best Social or Affordable New Housing' category. This comes on top of the national
award for the best Social Housing development in the prestigious Premier Guarantee National Awards in London in November 2015.
Temple Park Court, South Shields - ISOS
Work is completed at Temple Green in South Shields. The project of 18 new apartments for ISOS has been successfully let and the residents have settled in to their new homes.
